Last Friday, July 25th, Águas da Azenha took a significant step in its cultural journey by hosting its first event outside its usual venue. In partnership with Liquidâmbar — one of Coimbra’s most iconic event spaces, known for embracing independent artistic initiatives — we organized a night to remember.
The atmosphere was warm and meaningful: music, gathering, and exchange. We welcomed with great enthusiasm the Brazilian musicians from the band Doce Dourada, who brought a unique repertoire filled with original compositions and captivating versions of classics. The audience, made up of community members and curious newcomers drawn by the initiative, created an intimate and heartfelt ambiance. Every chord seemed to echo the core vision of Águas da Azenha — to be a living space for connection, expression, and collaboration.
More than just a show, it was a celebration of what we’ve built together: a network of affection, culture, and awareness. We were deeply grateful for everyone who joined, sang, danced, and helped make this moment so special. And, as we like to say around here, this was just the beginning.
